Series Indicators:
- Special Teams - both teams excelled in the regular season in special teams, however the Dynamiters amped up their special teams in the playoffs, while the Thunder Cats have remained stable (but still successful).
- Defence - specifically GAA, for two very defensive teams during the regular season. The Thunder Cats had a GAA of 3.38 when playing Kimberley (up from 2.71 in RS). While Kimberley had a GAA of 2.75 when playing Creston (up from 2.10 in RS).
- Winning on the Road - Both teams are successful at winning at home, especially when playing each other. So in order to win this series, teams will need to pick a W on the road.
