Dynamiters remain undefeated with a 7-3 win over the Rebels

In what was a calculated and tactical game the night before against Nelson, the Dynamiters had another circus game with the Castlegar Rebels.

In two games played against the Castlegar rebels, there have been 21 goals. 14 of them have been for the Nitro's.

1st
Castlegar opened the scoring. And then the Nitro's scored two. Then the Rebels tied it back up. And then Richter potted one on a delayed call. Giving the Nitro's a 3-2 lead heading into the second. The Rebels goalie was given a penalty, he took offence to Buckley and took him out (very Tim Thomas of him, not quite like Barrasso).

2nd
This was a let down period. There were obvious missed calls (again). Hits to the head, boarding, slashes and tripping, but the ref just let them play on. Not to mention after a period of 5 goals, 2 was lame, one for each team. There were correlations between the number of times the play by play guy said great moves and Rosolowksy.

3rd
HC Jerry Bancks is preaching fitness. What was noticeable last season is noticeable again this year, the Dynamiters can skate for all three periods. The Rebels had kept a lid on the Nitro's for the first and second, but the wheels came off, and the Dynamiters potted three goals in the third, despite only going 1 for 8 on the powerplay. The Nitro's held the Rebels to one shot during the period.

Nitro's Player of the Game
Marco Campanella. Scored the game winning goal, and scored an equalizer goal in the first, also had an assist.

Honorable Mentions
Alex Rosolowsky - 2G and 1A. The KIJHL also picked you as the Nitro's star of the game.
Tyler Garcia - had an awesome PK shift where he single handedly kept the puck in the Rebels end.
Jason Richter - 2G, including an individual effort
Eric Buckley - 2A and drew several penalties
Sawyer Hunt - 3A
James Jowsey - didn't show up on the score sheet, but had some nice moves on the back end
