Dynamiters score six in a row for a 6-3 win over Columbia Valley

First, I must acknowledge that I was double booked, and only made it for half the game.

1st
Columbia Valley jumped out to a quick two goal lead. However, not even five minutes later, Richter and Rosolowsky scored to even the game. Wallace scored on the power play before the period was out.

2nd
Haase notched a power play goal, to give the Nitro's a 4-2 lead. Which is when I arrived. And it was evident why the Nitro's had such a lead, they were creating a lot of offensive chances. Moments later, Hancherow through the puck at the net, and Richter batted the rebound out to Klingspohn who buried it. Giving the Nitro's a 5-2 lead. I should note, that my son thought the Rockies logo was a Gorilla, and cheered for the "Gorilla's" for the rest of the night.

3rd
There was panic early in the last frame as Brouwer mishandled the puck while getting it for the d-man. However, Prevost saved him, skated a lap around in the offensive end before passing the puck to Roy. Giving the Nitro's a 6-2 lead. Which reminded me of an experience I had when I was in net back in Winnipeg... which Columbia Valley didn't like me sharing. The Rockies did score a third, and that was the final score.

BUT I have to point out a lame call with 43 seconds left in the game. A Rockies player tried forcing himself past Marchi, by ducking by, and therefore the Rockies players head bumped into Marchi, and Marchi received a major penalty for contact to the head. Lame call given the situation and that those are cumulative.

Nitro's Player of the Game
Coy Prevost. Had assists on the 3rd and 6th goals. Was a force in the 3rd period, the Rockies had to play catch up every time he got the puck.

Honorable Mentions:
Keenan Haase - eventual game winning goal, his first as a Dynamiter
Tyson Klingspohn - goal and assist
Jason Richter - goal and assist
Trevor van Steinburg - delivered the hit of the game in the third.
